Kimberly Dunkin
Middle School/Junior High R&R Chair
Kimberly Dunkin is a middle school chorus and general music teacher in the Hendrick Hudson School District, where she has taught since 2006. Her Select Choir has performed at Lincoln Center, and her students regularly earn placements in NY-ACDA, ACDA East, and National ACDA Honor Choirs. Kimberly serves as NYSSMA Zone 11 Representative and has previously served as NY-ACDA Membership Chair. She is also Collaborative Pianist for the Westchester Children’s Chorus and frequently accompanies All-County and Area All-State festivals. She holds a BM in Music Education from Ithaca College and an MA from Columbia University.

Anthony D’Agostino
High School R&R Co-Chair
Anthony D’Agostino is the Junior High Choir Director at Victor Central School District in Victor, NY, and an Adjunct Professor at Finger Lakes Community College, where he directs Finger Lakes Camerata. He teaches 7th and 8th Grade Chorus, General Music, and serves as Music Director for the Junior High Musicals. His students consistently earn top ratings at NYSSMA, All-County, Area All-State, and ACDA Honor Choirs. Formerly at Dansville Central School District, his ensembles performed at Carnegie Hall and with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also an active guest conductor and serves with New York ACDA.

Allison Andre
High School R&R Co-Chair
Allison was born in Saranac Lake, NY and has been a resident of the North Country for most of her life. Allison attended Nazareth College (now Nazareth University) for a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with piano as her primary instrument. Allison received a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and currently teaches 6-12 Vocal and General Music at Brushton-Moira Central School District in Brushton, NY. Allison strongly believes it is the mission of contemporary musicians to share knowledge with others about music to teach humanity that music is valuable.

Dr. Eric Rubinstein
Collegiate R&R Chair
Dr. Eric Rubinstein is Director of Choral Activities at Nazareth University, where ensembles under his direction have performed for state and regional conferences of NAfME and ACDA, have toured domestically and abroad, and have been honored by The American Prize. Dr. Rubinstein has appeared at regional, national, and international conventions of NAfME, ACDA, CMS, EAS, and ISME speaking on the topics of popular music and approaches to conducting pedagogy inspired by dance forms. His work has also appeared in Choral Journal, Music Educators’ Journal, and The Choral Scholar among others. Dr. Rubinstein holds Choral Conducting and Music Education degrees from Louisiana State University (D.M.A.), Michigan State University (M.M.), and SUNY Fredonia (B.Mus.).

Dr. Wesley Roy
Collegiate Student Activities R&R Chair
P. Wesley Roy worked for ten years as a public middle and high school chorus and music theory teacher, and now serves as Choral Music Education professor at the Crane School of Music. He has served on county and state boards for the Florida Vocal Association and ACDA, and worked with the GRAMMY®-nominated professional ensemble, Seraphic Fire. Wesley is a firm advocate for furthering educational opportunities and accessibility for students and teachers with the ultimate goal of using our art for the service of others. In his free time, he enjoys cuddling with his sweet little dachshund.

Dr. John Wilson
Lifelong Singing R&R Chair
Dr. John Wilson is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities in the School of Fine & Performing Arts at SUNY New Paltz and the Artistic Director of the Riverside Choral Society. Prior to these appointments, Dr. Wilson served as the choral director at Bridgewater-Raritan High School for seventeen years, their Symphonic Choir notably being featured at the 2020 ACDA Eastern Division Conference in Rochester, NY. John has led honor choirs in various states and is in demand as a clinician and guest conductor. He is a past-president of NJ-ACDA. He lives in Princeton, NJ with his wife Clara and two children, Elliot and Henry.

Brian Wright
Gospel R&R Chair
Brian Wright is a music educator with over 10 years of experience in teaching, leadership, and performance. He holds a BA in Music (voice) from Benedict College and an Advanced Certificate in Music Education from Brooklyn College. Dedicated to inclusive teaching, Brian incorporates diverse musical traditions to ensure all students feel represented. His philosophy emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and the joy of making music together. An active performer, Brian has sung in more than six countries, experiences that shape his view of music as a universal language that connects people across cultures.
Austin Kiley
A Cappella R&R Chair
Austin Kiley holds BM and MM degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College, where he served as President of Ithacappella. At Vestal High School, he directs Vestal Voices, teaches music and theatre, and advises the diversity club. He has directed jazz choirs and a cappella groups including Bear Necessities, recognized at BOHSA and ICHSAs. Austin frequently adjudicates ICCA/ICHSAs, conducts honor choirs, and presents at NYSSMA and ACDA. He leads the contemporary branch of the Southern Tier Singers’ Collective and teaches at A Cappella Academy in Los Angeles.

Dr. Tyler Thomas
Vocal Jazz/Show Choir R&R Chair
Dr. Tyler Thomas teaches vocal music and musical theatre at Red Hook High School, directing the concert choir and vocal jazz ensemble. He has held prior positions in the Hudson Falls, North Colonie, and Galway school districts, and The School for Music Vocations in Creston, Iowa. Dr. Thomas has served as a guest conductor for honors mixed choirs and vocal jazz ensembles in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and New York. He holds a B.M. in Music Education from The Crane School of Music, and both an M.M. and D.M.A. in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas.

Dr. Charlotte Botha
World Music & Cultures R&R Co-CHair
Charlotte Botha is the Director of Choral Activities at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, where she conducts the Hamilton Voices choral theatre ensemble and the College Choir, and teaches music theory and musicology. Her research interests include choral diction and equitable practices for including the music of and by marginalized communities in choral programs. Botha has worked extensively with mixed and equal-voice singers from various backgrounds as conductor, honor choir clinician, and composer. She holds a DMA from The University of North Texas, an MMus from Nelson Mandela University, and a BMus from the University of Pretoria.

Dr. Sinhaeng Lee
World Music & Cultures R&R Co-CHair
Sinhaeng Lee is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Programs at Colgate University, where he conducts the University Chorus and Chamber Singers. A prize-winning conductor recognized internationally, he has led masterclasses across the United States, Europe, and Korea. He is founder and artistic director of Vox Amicis, a professional ensemble based in Seoul. Lee’s scholarship centers on Korean choral diction and inclusive access to East Asian repertoire. He holds degrees from Yonsei University, Westminster Choir College, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Sammy Strent
Composition R&R Co-Chair
Sammy Strent is an award winning composer, conductor, music director, and multi-instrumentalist from Bethesda, Maryland. Strent believes that music is the single greatest medium of human expression and that artists have a responsibility to use their creativity to enhance the world. He writes music for choirs, films, tv series, podcasts, chamber ensembles, and also arranges for marching bands. In the summer of 2023, Strent created “The Collegiate Choral Composition Community”. He is currently the Assistant Music Director for the national tour of Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical.

Jon Riss
Music in Worship R&R Chair
Jon Riss has enjoyed a more than 25 year-long career in sacred music, currently serving the congregations of Irvington Presbyterian Church and Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings-on-Hudson. He concurrently teaches choral music in the Hastings-on-Hudson public schools. Jon earned degrees in conducting and music education from Temple University and Ithaca College and has received national prizes in choral conducting from ACDA and the AGO, as well as the AGO Fellowship Certificate. His extensive service to the profession includes serving on the AGO Board of Examiners for their certification exams, as WCSMA President, and as a NYSSMA All-State Voice and Vocal Jazz Adjudicator.

Dr. Morgan Jolley
Research R&R Chair
Dr. Morgan Jolley is a conductor, educator, and scholar who serves as the Founding Artistic and Executive Director of Vocal Essence of the Southern Tier (VEST), a nonprofit in Upstate New York focused on inclusive, lifelong choral music. She has taught at Queens College, Ithaca College, and the University of South Florida, and opened the choral and musical theatre program at Weeki Wachee High School and other schools for a total of 18 years in education. Her choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall and earned top ratings at state festivals. An international presenter and researcher, she focuses on vocal health, access, and genre diversity in music education.
